Selside Lamberton was purchased privately by us along with our friends at Brookdene and Hayberries. 

He is an impressive and super correct sheep who has not been pushed, and being late January born has beeen allowed to grow at his own pace.

Lamberton goes back to our own breeding through Greenhill Ronaldo who sired many good sheep for the Selside flock over the years, and also Greenhill Stefano who bred well for Top Notch on the dam side, both being sons of Black Pepper.

His sire line includes Smiddy Hill Caeser, who I placed first at the Royal Highland Show 2015 as a lamb, as well as Aquila Top Gun Z, East Middle Rip Van Winkle, Saltur St. Aiden and Llepan Never Say Die, to name but a few well known successful sires within the breed.

Lamberton had one visit to the show ring in 2023, being placed first Ram Lamb, Male and Breed and Northern Area Champion at Royal Lancashire Show, his progeny is looked forward to in 2024.
